Mister Milford was engaged by the Mirvac National team to design, implement and manage the celebrations in NSW to mark the occasion of this incredible milestone.

Placemaking can take many different forms, depending on the specific needs and goals of a project and it’s community. Some examples of placemaking projects include creating public art installations, adding seating or lighting to a park or plaza, or organising community events such as concerts, farmers markets, or festivals. 

Selling off the plan is one of the most important steps in the property development process. Property marketers must create a display suite that showcases not only the new premises, but the lifestyle that goes with it. 

Following the VIP Sales Launch, a public sales launch event is more of a community event, celebrating the amenities and local flavour of the development and the lifestyle the development is providing to it’s buyers.  

Let’s get creative! Marketing events for the development allow carefully targeted and strategic plans to come to life. Whether marketing to a particular demographic to drive sales, boost publicity for a long term community roadmap for a extensive development or announce the signing of an anchor tenant for a retail development, the possibilities are endless.  

Grand Opening Events provide an opportunity for publicity to launch the development. Bring on the golden scissors and branded ribbons. A photo opportunity if ever there was one, marvellous ribbon cutting ceremonies signify the official opening of the building.

Following settlement, when the first residents have moved in to their new home, it is common practise to host the new members of the community at a welcome event onsite at the development. Often these events will commence whilst other areas of the development are still under construction.

Construction completion events are held primarily as a thank you to all of the many stakeholders involved in the development of the project bringing together the construction and development teams with investors, sales and marketing and significant community members, VIP buyers and local councils and government representatives. 

Community Engagement Events are pivotal to the marketing plan for any development. With a focus on highlighting the benefits of the development to the community, these events are held at various points throughout the sales timeline. Providing entertainment for all of the family, curated event experiences showcasing local providores, food and beverage offerings and interactive demonstrations alongside the sales agents showcasing the product to the general public for sale.

Also known as Breaking Ground, Ground Breaking or Turning of the Sod. Groundbreaking ceremonies are exactly that. The first sod-cutting, where a shovel digs into the dirt for clearing, excavating, and leveling the area according to the architect's plan.

A media event is an event or activity that exists for the sole purpose of media publicity, and the property development industry is no stranger to hosting successful events for this very purpose. Live events offer more opportunities for interaction, networking, and demonstration, but they also require more resources, logistics, and safety measures.  

VIP Sales Events signify the first opportunity for buyers to purchase property off the plan for the development. The events denote the beginning of an exciting sales cycle which can span through several phases of sales releases for the development.  

The launch event should be planned well in advance, considering aspects such as the date, time, location, format, theme, agenda, speakers, guests, entertainment, catering, and media coverage. You should create a pre-launch and post-launch marketing strategy to build anticipation and follow up with your attendees. 

The “Ella Awards” are the Ella Bache night of nights for staff and franchisees across the country. Held annually, the Ella Awards “Fashionista” was a delight to behold.

Mister Milford was tasked with creating a unique and out of the box Gala Dinner for this conference group. From the theme, entertainment, creative planning and execution, food and beverage, theming, staging, event direction and much more, this was a dream event for our team which became an entity unto itself that you live and breathe in the lead-up, during the event and for weeks after the event completion!

TalentFest is the annual conference for Talent – global technology and digital recruitment firm. Each year, Mister Milford is tasked with making each conference bigger and better than the last.

Mister Milford have been proudly producing the Talent Unleashed Awards for many years, this particular year was a definite highlight for us, being the first corporate group to unleash in the newly refurbed Forum Theatre in Melbourne.

Tourism New Zealand partnered with Mister Milford to deliver an outstanding dinner event for the CEO & Chair Symposium Delegates to showcase New Zealand as a destination for association events, meetings and conferences.

Restaurant Orana, which means ‘welcome’ in some Aboriginal languages, is known for its dedication to Indigenous ingredients and culture. Its menu strikes a happy balance between native and introduced foods.

Groundbreaking, also known as cutting, sod-cutting, turning the first sod or a sod-turning ceremony, is a traditional ceremony in many cultures that celebrates the first day of construction for a building or other project. Our ceremonies include dignitaries relevant to the stakeholders of the project, local government officials and elders of the land on which the construction is taking place.

Mister Milford was delighted to work with client, Mirvac, on The Cider Orchard by Mirvac in Melbourne. The bar pop up in Southbank was part of the River Graze action, which transformed the river’s edge into a food and wine spectacular from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, the opening weekend of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.
