Restaurant Orana, which means ‘welcome’ in some Aboriginal languages, is known for its dedication to Indigenous ingredients and culture. Its menu strikes a happy balance between native and introduced foods.

On behalf of South Australian Tourism Commission, Chef Jock Zonfrillo temporarily closed up the Adelaide restaurant for four weeks to launch a Sydney pop up for a month - moving the entire team to the former Longrain site in Surry Hills from 19 August – 19 September.

As a part of the experience, South Australia Tourism was able to take control of the guestlist for a VIP showcase of what South Australia has to offer.

SATC teamed with Mister Milford to create an immersive experience for the SATC Guests. From native flora and fauna engorged signage on arrival, Neon Signed media wall inside a ‘mini vineyard’, Never Never Gin Station and place cards held by custom made wine cork place card holders, guests were dazzled from arrival, right through the delicious degustation dinner lovingly served by the Orana team.
